HercOps is delighted to have been selected as the C130J training provider by the Bangladesh Air Force. The BAF have purchased 5 former RAF C130J Hercules the last of which was delivered in 2020.

Training has already commenced, with BAF Senior Officers Group Captain Mukeet-ul-Alam and Group Captain Shamin Reza refreshing their flying skills in the RAF Brize Norton C130J Dynamic Mission Simulators under the instruction of HercOps’ highly experienced Qualified Flying Instructors.

HercOps will train BAF crews on a continuous basis enabling the BAF C130J fleet to achieve full operational capability whilst providing crews with emergency and continuation training.

The acquisition of C-130J aircraft from the RAF provides a key enhancement to the BAF’s current airlift capability which are expected to be used in a variety of roles including aeromedical evacuation tasks within Bangladesh and overseas support to UN operations.

The decision by the BAF to select HercOps as its C130J training provider is part of a comprehensive package of military rotary and fixed-wing aviation training.
